Claire
Giclee
Edition 50
Released January 2002
SOLD OUT
“Claire” was created to commemorate the birth of my
daughter, Isabel Clara Everson. The infant is drawn in the style
of the Northwest Coast peoples and illustrates Claire amongst the
stars, the place of origin of the Kwakwaka’wakw and Comox
First Nations. The large star is rendered in the style of the Mi’kmaq
First Nation. This print is intended to portray the union of First
Nations across the continent. Our daughter is a beautiful reminder
of that union.
This print is given to friends and family in respect of your love
and support through the years and in the years to come.
“Claire” is a limited edition print using
the giclée method of printmaking. Print production took place
during January of 2002 at SkyDancer Studio of Comox B.C. The artist
was involved throughout the printing process. A total of 55 prints
bear the title “Claire” and are signed by Andy Everson:
50 in the primary edition bearing the numbers 1/50 through 50/50;
and 5 Artist’s Proofs. The acid-free 100% cotton Provence
Rag paper measures 5x7 inches.
